The Role

Specific duties include:
  • Review and approval of payments, loan drawdowns and asset transfers from a credit standpoint and in line with our Credit Policy
  • Maintain and monitor collateral values based on Credit Approval Memorandum (CAM) requests, annual reviews and special approvals
  • Help drive of our change mobilization agenda from a team's and department's perspective
  • Monitor daily credit exposure to ensure compliance with authorized limits
  • Determine resolution plans for credit over limits, unauthorized activity & shortfall situations in partnership with the front office
  • Book and monitor Standby LC's, Credit Card guarantees and related fees
  • Book and monitor legal, arrangement and appraisal fees
  • Ensure controls and procedures are solid, up to date and properly followed
  • Build and maintain partnership with our peers
Qualifications
  • Up to 4 years relevant experience
  • Aptitude to digest large amounts of information and use it to develop innovative solutions
  • Languages: full working proficiency in English
  • General understanding of the private banking business and credit products
  • Experience in process change and execution with tools such as Python, Signavio, Alteryx, Xceptor and/or VBA is a plus
  • Proactive, responsive team player who can thrive in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Strong commitment, sense of integrity and exceptional drive
  • Ability to prioritize, take initiative and meet tight deadlines
  • Possess strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate efficiently also in a virtual team environment
  • Good judgment and discretion working with highly confidential information
  • Ability to take a corporate perspective
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
